Hi baby, 

First & foremost I want to thank you for being in my life. You have made the past two years so enjoyable for me, and I know that without you, things wouldn’t be the same. You have been my anchor and my backbone throughout our whole relationship and through junior and senior year, and that’s something I will be forever grateful for. Our relationship was never perfect, but it was always exactly what I wanted. I knew you were always different from other guys, the way you carry yourself and the confidence you have has always set you apart. You have taught me to be more self-confident in myself, which is something I know I’ll need in the future that I wouldn’t have discovered without you. You were an amazing boyfriend, no matter what anyone says. You are truly a wonderful guy and it breaks my heart for anyone to think differently. I want you to know that even if we aren’t together, you will always be such a huge part of my life and my heart. You mean so much to me, Shane, and that is never going to change. Regardless if we end up together some day, or if this time apart is permanent, I don’t regret a thing. I know we loved each other as much as we possibly could. Finding someone I could feel so strongly about in high school was unimaginable before, but I’m so glad you changed that. Please know that I am always here for you; this summer, this year, and anytime in the future. Above everything, you were my best friend, and that trust I have in you is more important than anything. Please never turn into a stranger. I love you.
